Cactus Adds Fujifilm and Sony TTL Support to the V6 II

Posted by Broadway Camera on 2017-06-21

Even before it was announced in March, Cactus had been hinting that they would be bringing TTL support for Fujifilm and Sony to their V6 II Wireless Flash Transceiver. That update is available this week from the Cactus website free of charge.

Currently available for Fujifilm and Sony cameras, the 'X-TTL' firmware adds 'automatic TTL exposure' compatibility with any flash made by Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax and Sigma. In addition to TTL support, the Cactus V6 II also supports cross-brand high-speed sync, remote power and zoom control on any compatible flash.

X-TTL firmware support will extend to camera systems from Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic and Pentax in the future.

Full features from the press release:

1. Cross-brand wireless manual power and zoom control with HSS/FP support of Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax and Sony flashes.

2. Cross-brand wireless TTL of Canon, Fujifilm, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Pentax, Sigma and Sony flashes.

3. Two Exposure Locks offer consistency with the convenience of wireless TTL.

4. Works seamlessly with Cactus RF60X to support HSS, TTL, remote power and zoom control.

The Cactus V6II is available now at all Broadway Camera locations and bccamera.com.
