Due to the light attenuation now being twice as strong i.e. by two f-stops (transparency 25%, max. 2 f-stops), even this graduated filter can produce quite dramatic effects. Because of the increased difference in brightness, and to avoid an unnatural impression, it is even more important in this case that the horizon line is not too far from being the centre of the image.
