Quite often people expect that you need something super expensive in order to make good images or videos and that simply isn’t true. While there certainly is a difference in “quality” as you move up in price range, a good photographer or videographer can get the job done with whatever he has on hand. Creative vision and sound technique gets you more results than megapixels and focusing points.
