Late last night Nikon announced development of the D5, their next generation professional DSLR which replaces a D4 that will more than likely be 4 years old (released Feb. 2012) before it’s successor hits the market.
There’s also a new flash and wireless controller in the mix:
The new Wireless Transmitter WT-6 and Speedlight SB-5000, which will be positioned at the top of Nikon’s Speedlight lineup, are also being developed.
Apart from that, there aren’t any other details like retail price or release date from Nikon yet.
