Nikon Inc. has officially announced the Nikon D7100 DX DSLR, a successor to the popular D7000. The D7100 builds on the success of the D7000’s great features with a brand new specially designed 24.1 megapixel CMOS DX sensor that omits the use of the optical low pass filter for the best possible image quality. With the Expeed 3 processor the D7100 can easily handle up to 100 shots at 6 frames per second. When combined with a 51 focus point AF system, it creates a good match to handle most fast-pace shooting environments.

For video users the D7100 brings more high definition recording formats to the table. It will record video in 1080p at 60i/50i/30/25/24 fps or at 720p at 60 fps for smooth slow motion sequences. To meet your audio needs the D7100 has a built-in stereo mic, external stereo mic jack, and headphone jack. And when it comes to clearer and brighter image playback, shooting information, menu adjustments and live view shooting the D7100 introduces the new and improved 3.2” ultra-high resolution 1,229 K- dot LCD and brand new viewfinder with a low-power consumption electro-luminescent (EL) data display.

The Nikon D7100 body comes in at $1199.99 and the D7100 kit with the 18-105mm VR lens is $1549.99. Contact one of our four locations to pre-order your Nikon D7100 now!
