Days after Sony announced their stunning new lineup of the A7R II, RX100 IV and RX10 II, they’re updating some of their current cameras with a firmware upgrade.
V2.0 firmware for the A7, A7R, A7S and A6000 will be available today, improving startup time across the board and adding XAVC-S video recording to the A6000.
To download the firmware for your Sony mirrorless camera:
1. Go to http://esupport.sony.com/CA.
2. Enter your model number in the box below “Already know your model?”
3. Select the “Drivers and Software” tab.
4. Select your operating system.
5. Select the FIRMWARE tab in the following menu.
