Adventure filmmaker and Sony Artisan Renan Ozturk tells stories about our connection to the natural world, often set within the most challenging environments on Earth. His Instagram account is filled with intimate stories with stunning imagery. We love the image below, the wide angle lends itself to the epic tone and graphic shape of the tree fills the frame.
Scott Kranz – @scott_kranz
Scott Kranz is based in Seattle and a member of the Alpha Collective. He’s become well-known for his outstanding travel images, and long treks through the mountains. Check out his travel photography tips HERE. In the images below, Kranz is in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. Both shots were made with the Sony Alpha 1 – the first image had the Sony 16-35mm f/2.8 G Master and the second Sony 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 G Master telephoto at 400mm. In the caption, he explains that the second image exists within the first - can you find it?!

Edgar Canales is a wildlife, travel and adventure photographer. He has a love of the ocean and the mountains, and often uses those places as the backdrop for his imagery. These photographs were taken at Pico de Orizaba, also known as Citlaltépetl, an inactive stratovolcano, the highest mountain in Mexico and the third highest in North America, after Denali of Alaska in the United States and Mount Logan of Canada. Erin Hogue is a Sony photographer, visual artist, creative director and adventurer. She's often out in the elements documenting extreme winter sports, so you’re sure to find breathtaking visual imagery when you check out her account. She’s also on a mission to bring awareness to climate change through her work. She took this image with the Sony Xperia. In the caption she states, “At first I thought I would feel limited not having my big camera with a fast shutter speed, multiple lenses, and the raw images. In the end I felt the opposite. The @sonyxperia has 3 built-in lenses, high speed shutter and shots raw so all I had to sacrifice was my big pack.”
Jocelyn Chavy - @jocelynchavy
Jocelyn Chavy tells adventure stories through words and photography. He has worked for most of the mountaineering magazines in France, including Vertical, and Montagnes Magazine as editor in chief. Always with his camera he climbed onto some wild edges including twice Yosemite's El Capitan and survived various Nepali Dal Bhats and these adventures have produced some breathtaking images.
