With the LEICA APO MACRO SUMMARIT-S 1:2,5/120 mm, the camera manufacturer adds a very universal lens to the S2 program - a lens that not only embraces the macro field, but is also a high speed telephoto portrait one. For a macro lens, the 1:2,5 maximum aperture is unusually large and unique in the LEICA S2 class. Double usage was always the priority: The 120 mm focal length, which corresponds to the traditional 96 mm small picture format, can be applied just as much to product and table-top photography as to full format portraits with clearly defined levels of sharpness at medium distances. The pictures by German photographer, Jo Jankowski, were taken during a shoot for the ING-DiBa Bank's latest campaign. The ads appeared in the middle of September.
