The Leica D-Lux 7 boasts improved specifications such as a new 17 megapixel 4/3rds sensor for high-res images, balanced with excellent low light performance. The sensor is perfectly matched to a 24-75 mm equivalent Vario-Summilux zoom lens with a fast f/1.7-2.8 aperture. Also boasting high resolutions are the integrated electronic viewfinder and new 3" touchscreen display, ensuring improved viewing and faster operation. The D-Lux 7 offers many firsts for the D-Lux line, including the first to include a "post focus" 4K photo feature, USB charging and integrated Bluetooth to augment its Wi-Fi connectivity with the Leica FOTOS app.
The D-Lux 7 features a high resolution electronic viewfinder with 2.76 million pixels for extremely precise framing and a 3-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 1.24 million pixels. Using the touchscreen enables the photographer to both conveniently control the D-Lux 7 and reliably judge the quality of an image straight after shooting it.
Equipped with an extremely fast autofocus system, shooting up to 11 frames per second the D-Lux 7 is guaranteed to capture and preserve even the most fleeting of moments. Additionally, the D-Lux 7 is equipped with an innovative post-focus function that enables photographers to choose the focus point even after taking the picture.
Equally capable for video as well as stills, the D-Lux 7 can record 4K video in 24, 25 or 30 fps as well as recording in 4K photo capture modes.
The D-Lux 7 is easily connected to a smartphone using WiFi. Compatible with your camera, the Leica FOTOS app delivers features that enable photographers to remotely capture unforgettable moments, transfer, edit and share images quickly, easily, and on-the-go. In combination with the Leica FOTOS App, the D-Lux 7 not only offers fast access and the sharing of images via social media – it can even be triggered from afar.
