Here is the perfect and quick answer to help stabilize video shots with smaller HDSLR’s, mirror-less interchangeable lens cameras and compact digital cameras: a grip. The Photo and Cinema Grip is different than most grips on the market today. Traditionally, pistol grips have been designed for movie or video cameras which are long and therefore the grip has had a narrow platform to match the shape of the camera.
The new P&C Grip is designed for today’s cameras that have a wide profile, thus providing a grip with maximum surface to better support the camera. Additionally, the grip is “rubberized”. All of this improves handling as everything is more ergonomic and stable. Plus, this grip has a removable D-ring exposing standard female 1/4-20 threads allowing the grip to accept accessories such as the DL-0390 and DL-0392 Articulating Friction Arms. With a little creativity and thought, the P&C Grip can be used to aid in a variety of otherwise difficult-to-get shots. The P&C Grip is 4.75” long with a 2-5/8” wide platform.
