Canon Canada has announced FUTURES, A 12-month mentorship program designed for creators aged 18 to 24 to leverage Canon's extensive community of industry experts to equip the next generation of visual storytellers with the tools to thrive in the creative economy.

FUTURES is a 12-month mentorship journey designed to equip passionate, emerging creators and storytellers, ages 18 to 24 with the opportunity to broaden their creative spectrum, expand their knowledge of the business and their craft, create community with peers across Canada, and further develop their skills. The program is open to all Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents that are aspiring photographers, filmmakers, storytellers and active creators. The program will run from August 2022 to July 2023 and is delivered through monthly exclusive virtual workshops, assignments, an in-person immersive retreat, and industry mentorships. Canon Canada will equip FUTURES creators with the tools they need to successfully participate in the program, and the curriculum kicks-off in September 2022. Special to FUTURES is an exclusive all-expenses-paid in-person creative retreat with mentorship from Canon Ambassadors to a beautiful destination in Canada.
