It’s unfortunate the Polaroid didn’t live long enough to see the public’s renewed love for instant photography but luckily, Fujifilm has been around to fill the void.
The mini 70 is the latest instant camera in the Instax lineup, which appears to be slightly smaller than the popular retro-looking mini 90 and includes a new automatic exposure control feature as well as a built-in selfie mirror so you won’t waste any film on pictures of just your forehead.
Otherwise, it’s the same great Instax quality photos on regular Instax instant film. At launch, the mini 70 will come in three colors: Canary Yellow, Moon White and Island Blue with an MSRP of $169.99 (includes 10 exposures of Instax film). It’s expected to be available in November.

The INSTAX Mini film features instant color pictures that are ISO 800 that produce sharp clear reproduction for vivid color, natural skin tones and super fine grain instant pictures. INSTAX Mini Film is credit-card sized 2”x3”, with an image area of 1.8” x 2.4”. The film has a blank strip at the bottom so that you can write a message under the photo.

The new INSTAX Mini 70 will be available in November 2015 in the U.S. in Canary Yellow, Moon White and Island Blue for USD $139.95. INSTAX Mini Instant film is sold separately for USD $19.95 for a double pack with 20 exposures.
