The camera’s shape and subtle design elements evoke its historic inspiration. They include a black finish, exclusive leatherette covering, and nickel-colored accents on the control elements, lens, and lens cap. Unlike the series model, the special edition does not feature the red Leica logo. It favors a clear design with straight lines. Other details like the “100” on the hot shoe cover and elaborate edging on the shutter release offer a nod to its iconic heritage.
